A ribbed knit dress that falls to mid-calf. The rib is fine and close, knitted in a cotton-modal blend with enough recovery that it follows the body without clinging to it. The usual failure of a rib dress is that it stretches out at the hip by lunchtime, and the elastane content here is what prevents that. Sleeveless with a wide shoulder strap that covers a bra band, and a round neck cut high at the front and the back. The skirt is straight with a short split at the left side seam for walking. No lining, no zip; it pulls on.
Machine wash cold inside out on gentle, dry flat to keep the length.
